We are proud of our diverse and international community. As many of our international Ph.D. scholars continue to live and grow in Germany, many may be interested in the possibility of gaining German citizenship. This info session will provide more information about the process.
On Thursday, November 11, beginning at 11:00 am, IMPRS-IS will offer a one-hour interactive Q&A to help guide our community members through the process of becoming a permanent resident in Germany.
Dates: Thursday, November 11, 2021 Time: 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. (noon) CET Location: Remote via Zoom Trainer: Maike Trost
The session will be led by MPI-IS International Office representative, Maike Tröst, and will feature the following content:
• Differences between permanent residence permit and citizenship • When and how can one apply – waiting time, German knowledge and other qualifications • Permanent residence permit and citizenship for spouses and children • Other helpful resources and points of contact
The second part of the session will be an interactive Q&A session.
