Starting a new Ph.D. program can be challenging! Plus, most of our IMPRS-IS scholars are relocating to a new city or even country. IMPRS-IS aims to help get our scholars adjusted through our annual orientation day. We'll provide more details regarding IMPRS-IS Ph.D program requirements, benefits, and resources.
What: IMPRS-IS Orientation Day Date: Friday, March 18, 2022 Time: 10:00 - 14:30 (with a 45-minute lunch break from 12:15 - 13:00 for lunch) Where: Online
At an orientation day, scholars can expect to learn more about IMPRS-IS program requirements. Specifically, we will answer questions such as:

Representatives from the MPI-IS human resources department and international offices also provide information concerning:
Scholars even learn about the value of intercultural communication and the importance of ethical practices in science.
Finally, orientation days end with some time for socializing where new colleagues can mingle with one another.
We strongly encourage new scholars to participate in our IMPRS-IS orientation day. Even if you have not yet started your Ph.D. with us, it would be great if you could plan to join.
