You want to create a memorable, visually appealing poster that will make conference participants want to stop and talk to you -- but how? This workshop participants will learn about poster design elements as well as how to communicate orally to the science community.
The soft skill seminar series (S4) continues on in November, as IMPRS-IS scholars are invited to attend the virtual workshop -- Poster Presentation and Design.
This workshop will be conducted via Zoom over two half-day sessions.

This workshop is led by Dr. Imke Lode. Dr. Lode specializes in intercultural competences, diversity and communication, female careers in academia, poster design, and oral presentation skills.
Dr. Lode gained extensive teaching and research experience while at NYU, Columbia University, and the Universities of Magdeburg and Lübeck.
She has also worked for a number of scientific agencies such as the European Society for Clinical Microbiology & Infectious Diseases making her an excellent trainer for our scientific community.
