"Have a pint with your local scientist," is the slogan for a festival that is headed towards downtown Tübingen. A total of eleven scientists will be speaking in pubs across the city for three days.
A total of eleven researchers from Tübingen research institutions such as the Max Planck Institute for Intelligent Systems, the University of Tübingen, the Max Planck Institute for Biological Cybernetics or the Max Planck Institute for Biology will be speaking in three pubs across the city from 13 through 15 May 2024. Attendees will enjoy an exciting selection of talks, such as: ‚Algorithms and applicants – how is AI transforming job applications?‘, ‚Icy worlds in geophysics – exploring the secrets of the Antarctic Ice Sheet‘ or ‚The science of falling asleep‘. You will be able to talk to the researchers directly in a relaxed atmosphere, discuss your questions with them and take part in a pub quiz.
