Starting your doctorate can be challenging! This event will help new scholars get acclimated by receiving info about IMPRS-IS program requirements, benefits, and resources.
What: IMPRS-IS Orientation Day Date: Wednesday, October 16 Time: 15:30 - 20:30 (dinner provided) Where: MPI-IS Tübingen
Orientation days are designed to provide scholars with information to help them successfully integrate into our IMPRS-IS community. Scholars can expect to learn more about IMPRS-IS program requirements, and the event includes social activities and free food and drinks.
Specifically, we will answer questions such as:
Scholars will learn more about IMPRS-IS resources such as:
Scholars even learn about the value of intercultural communication and the importance of ethical practices in science.
Finally, orientation days end with some time for socializing where new colleagues can mingle with one another.
We strongly encourage new scholars to participate in one of our 2024 IMPRS-IS orientation days.
